   Lieutenant in the US Army

• Graduated The Academy for Excellence in Local Governance 2003. Received Municipal   Government Certification

Professional

• Proudly served in the US Army from 1968 until 1971
     - Training (including OCS) until 1969
     - Served as Executive Officer in a Basic Training Company at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina last        half of 1969
     - Served as a Batallion Training Advisor at the Army of the Republic of Vietnam Infantry Officer        Candidate School in Thu Duc, Vietnam from December 1969 until April 1970
     - Promoted to First Lieutenant in April 1970

     - Progressed through a number of engineering management positions until I left to start my own        business in November 1984.
